Its oncology research alone covers over 20 cancer types, including several high-incidence cancers in China. To date, MSD has introduced more than 80 innovative medicines, vaccines, new indications and companion diagnostics to China, continuously meeting local clinical needs.
About Myeloid Cure
Founded in December 2019 by a team of returnee and domestic PhD-level researchers, Myeloid Cure Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is headquartered in Xiaoshan KaiFeng Science Park. The company focuses on macrophage immune drug discovery and development, specializing in the R&D and industrialization of global first-in-class (FIC) medicines, with a differentiated pipeline portfolio spanning autoimmune diseases and malignant oncology.
The proprietary Myeloid Phagocytosis Engager (MPE) bispecific antibody platform is a core competitive advantage of Myeloid Cure. Featuring a unique dual mechanism of action, the platform simultaneously enhances Fcγ receptor-mediated antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP) and ADCP-independent phagocytosis, enabling highly efficient clearance of primary B cells and a broad range of tumor cells. Compared with traditional immunotherapies, the MPE platform delivers deeper target cell elimination, offering a novel therapeutic approach for autoimmune diseases and oncology, with the potential to set new global treatment standards.
Outlook
This partnership between Myeloid Cure and MSD represents a deep integration of world-class pharmaceutical resources and China's local innovation power. The two parties will leverage their respective strengths to accelerate the translation of innovative drugs from bench to bedside, contribute to the fight against refractory diseases, and jointly advance human health and well-being.
